The Meaning of Shelter |
| I watched the kids playing today, Outside in the fresh-fallen snow. And I thought of the warmth of your loving arms And smiled, albeit my heart felt low. I dreamt of a city in ruins, The sun laughing in its face. In the middle of it a soft king-sized bed And us laying in it, wrapped up in love's grace. If there is one thing that I wish for, That I want you to understand, It's that it does not matter what road we must take, You won't be alone, there's an 'us' till the end. |
